Ceramics Processing Laboratory, Building 66
Los Alamos National Laboratory
This project, constructed in a secured area, entailed the demolition of two existing laboratories, modification of space for a new laboratory, new laboratory casework, construction of a mezzanine, and installation of a new heating ventilation and air conditioning system, laboratory gases and new electrical systems. This work was performed while LANL personnel were occupying adjacent spaces. MSR successfully upgraded the mechanical and electrical systems without disrupting the adjacent systems and handled the demolition, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, miscellaneous carpentry and gypsum wallboard system utilizing its own forces. No accidents were encountered during this construction.
