This project was a remodel of an existing 30,000 square foot elementary school building. Work was done in three phases to ensure regular classes were not disrupted during construction. Work consisted of demolition of flooring, ceilings and walls, and installation of new metal stud walls with new floor, wall and ceiling finishes. MSR removed existing exterior windows and installed new thermal pane windows. The existing kitchen area was remodeled and upgraded the. MSR cut penetrations through the existing roof and patched roof to allow installation of new HVAC duct for the new roof-top HVAC units. MSR also installed a new electrical system – which included power, lighting, phone, data, security, and fire alarm – and removed existing concrete sidewalks and asphalt paving to install a new 30,000 square foot asphalt parking lot with associated sidewalks, fencing and landscaping.
